  • To reach the Buckets of Gualaca, you must travel to the Province of Chiriquí, in David, your capital, take the road that goes to Boquete and enter the Via to Caldera, Gualaca and Bocas del Toro. The Street is in good condition. I Suggest that it is better to go in a car or rented. However, on the way, I saw several backpackers. Upon reaching the Caldera-Gualaca intersection, take a right and follow to the town of Gualaca. In the same you can supply water and dry food. You Can Park your vehicle very close to the river. On weekends and holidays on site The locals sell sausages and grilled sausages, sancocho (soup), beers and Saus (pork legs in vinaigrette). There Is a lifeguard on site and the cops make tours in the area. Like every river there are deep and flat parts. Deeper parts can be nailed. The site is spectacular...
