Founded in 1814, Botanical Gardens (Botanisk Hage og Museum) represents the oldest such garden in Norway. The garden is now a part of the Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo and focuses on environmental conservation and educating the public about the importance of biodiversity. View the collection of over 7,500 plant species from around the world, separated into sections such as a scent garden, herb garden, Viking garden, palm house, and Victoria house--featuring exotic and tropical plants.
