Flåm Church (Norwegian: Flåm kyrkje) is a parish church in Aurland Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Flåm. It is the church for the Flåm parish which is part of the Sogn prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The brown, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1670 by master builder Magne Essen using designs by an unknown architect. The church seats about 160 people.

  • Lovely walk through Flam and then came to this church. It is a nice pretty church and well worth having a look as you go through the tourist town.  more »

  • Nice church, just outside Flåm town center. The pictures cannot really capture why this building is such a nice stop while touring. The majestic rural setting combined with the simplistic wooden construction and weathered tiled roof really captures an essence of rural Norwegian life.
