If you're already driving by this area, it's worth a stop and the short hike to the base of the waterfall. You can see the falls from the highway.

Best waterfall that I had seen during my Norwegian cycling trip. Visited on 10 Sep 2018. If you are in the area, you must visit. The initial stretch from here towards Bergen was steep so if you are riding, do have enough warm wear and a rain jacket is a must. Have fun!
