Our experience and pride

Over the last 17 years we have organized a large number of treks, expeditions and sightseeing tours, from solo trips, small groups and families to full scale expeditions.

Sherpa Brothers has successfully organized complex medical research expeditions for Medex UK and it’s sister company Medical Expeditions to Makalu in 2003, and Dhaulagiri in 2008. Each of these research expeditions had more than 50 participants, and was engaged in high altitude medical research.

In conjunction with Medex UK and Porter Progress UK, in 2010 Sherpa Brothers actively participated in helping with data collection for research. Also in 2012 Sherpa Brothers helped in translating the questionnaire form from English to Nepali script, printing and collecting the data. This research was conducted by Porter Progress UK in the Nepal Himalaya. Details of this can be viewed in the link below.

Medex will carry out their next medical research in spring 2015 at Manaslu base camp. Sherpa Brothers will be organizing all the local arrangements for this research project. Porter Progress are also arranging their next data collection research on the Manaslu Spring 2015 expedition, and Sherpa Brothers will again be helping with the data collection for the research..http://www.portersprogressuk.org/our-projects/medex-research-project

Medex has published a useful and informative booklet called ‘Travel at High Altitude’, and this can be directly downloaded from www.medex.org.uk.

Nepal offers some of the most spectacular trekking in the world. Thousands of visitors trek to different parts of Nepal every year to experience the charm of its nature, people and culture.
