During emergencies, our company has the provisions of instantly arranging a rescue helicopter, be it a military or a privately owned one, in the interest of the safety of our guests.
Scientific Management and Decision-Making
Frequent meetings are held among the staff and management to review the overall activities, encountered constraints and their solutions, and other areas of overall improvement.
In view of the fact that our guests and the guide may realize the necessity of an alteration in the planned itinerary due to natural or social factors, our company has entrusted the authority of relevant decision-making upon the guide responsible for the trip. The guide is required to inform any such changes to the central office at Kathmandu.
Respect for Culture, Ecology and Environment
We are earnestly committed to the preservation of our culture and conservation of our natural environment.
In a realization of the fact that most of the income of a trekking agency depends on the various mountain peaks, natural plantations, and wildlife conservations of the nation, our company also contributes to ecological preservation and environmental cleaning. Such activities are generally conducted during off seasons.
Social Commitment and The Relief Fund
Our Company has allocated a certain percentage of its annual income as a charity to a non-profit orphanage; which is striving to improve the lives of thousands of orphans from all over the country. Effective from last year our company also contributes to relief funds and other social activities.

Top organization! Everything went according to plan. Very thoughtful and professional! Highly recommend!!! more »
We did a 10 day trek up the Langtang Valley with our two teenage daughters and a friend. This was our second trip with Mountain Tiger and once again, everything went smoothly and comfortably. Our guid... more »
Not the best experience! Binod the owner was really nice to me. The problem was Nawan the guide he sent with me to do Everest Base Camp. I got altitude sickness because the guide was negligent and he did not allow me to acclimatize in any of the stages of the trek. He was walking super fast and Everest base camp, is a trek to take your time. I live at ocean level and the guide took me to 4900 m without acclimatization. People die on the trek from altitude sickness and I am glad I made it back to a rescue place where there are doctor's from all over the world. When I got there after 600 m elevation walking with altitude sickness, the doctor from New Zealand told my guide the problem was he did not allow me to acclimatize and instead my guide started yelling at the doctor: "you people from 1st world country do not know anything about altitude sickness this is Nepal!!!" he was pointing his finger at the doctor and I found it very rude and terrible image for the company he was representing as there was a lot of people in that place who could hear Nawan yelling at the doctor. My package include the trek, food, accommodation and showers. My guide allowed me to shower 3 times in 19 days cause he was low in budget didn't I pay for that??. My package was $1300 USD and due to my guide negligence I also had to spend $350 USD more on the trek to visit a doctor 3 times. If you could do the trek on your own and save money you just have to go to Lukla and hire a Porter-guide will charge you $12 USD per day and that includes his accommodation and food. If you decided to hire a company please make sure whenever their package said it is what you will get. Avoid altitude sickness because it feels terrible and also avoid guides like Nawan who was in a hurry to finish the trek to get more groups and make as more money as October to December is the only time of the year guides make money and they miss the important part people lives.
