National Park · Nature / Park
Venture through Nkasa Rupara National Park, Namibia’s largest formally protected wetland area, and witness abundant animal life thriving in natural habitats. The open park serves as a trans-border connection for animal migration between Angola, Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia. Walk among distinctive plant life, like paper-bark acacia, sausage tree, and silver cluster-leaf, and see animals including elephants, buffalo, and lions. Fishing is prohibited in the park, and you should always stay on the roads and marked areas, as crocodiles may lurk in the water. For your own safety, you can only acess the park by car.
