#3 of 7 in Things to do in Mingun
Visit Mingun Bell to hear the ring of one of the world's largest bells. Cast in 1808, it held the record as the world's largest bell several times, before being eclipsed by one from China in 2010. The 6 m (20 ft) high, 90-ton bronze object features inscriptions describing its weight on the outside. This bell doesn't have a clapper; instead, it is rung by striking its outer edge. Give it a good hit, striking the bell is permitted. Take a look at our Mingun trip builder website to schedule your visit to Mingun Bell and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.
