Kasbah Amridil, Skoura Ahl El Oust

#2 of 16 in Historic Sites in Souss-Massa-Draa Region
Get an authentic taste of traditional Moroccan life at Kasbah Amridil, a walled neighborhood established over 300 years ago. The 17th-century kasbah now functions as a living, open-air museum with many traditional features, including olive presses, bread ovens, wells, and a large community of resident goats bleating happily around the main courtyard. Take a walk up the ramparts to gain extensive views of the palm groves that surround the kasbah. A visit to Kasbah Amridil represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Skoura Ahl El Oust trip itinerary maker site to plot your vacation.

  • I visited the kasbah with the group of adventures in the world. It's a really fascinating place but the difference was made by our guide Reda, an educated guy, with a perfect Italian and above all really nice. I myself work as a guide and I can guarantee that he knew how to make the guided tour interesting and fun, capturing our attention despite the tiredness and heat! Thank you Reda! The best tourguide!

  • We visited this beautiful Kasbah en route to the desert. It was really a big surprise, it's beautiful. Your guide speaks perfect Spanish and has a sense of humor that makes the visit hsta short !! The interior is full of things and elements of the time and show you everything how it works. We loved the visit, 100% recommended. Beautiful views.

  • An amazing building, helps a lot to understand about the local culture and architecture. The exhibition inside also really cool, don’t skip the photos, it’s amazing to understand the progress people made here because of different reasons. Also, there is a cafe inside, if you would like to try.
  • Beautiful, amazing architecture. Great collection of artifacts. The palmarie has date palms, olive trees, medicinal herbs and more. Great for a stroll or a camel ride.
