Venture out into the waves of sand at Merzouga Desert, one of the country's two Saharan ergs, or dunes created by the wind. The 50 km (31 mi) long and 5 km (3.1 mi) wide dunes can rise 350 m (1,148 ft) in places, with the undulating, barren landscape appearing like a moving golden sea. Berber camel caravans traipsing through the sand add to the iconic Saharan scenery. Many visitors arrange a Berber-led excursion into the desert, with an initial camel trek, followed by a night of traditional food and entertainment under the stars. My man and I definitely got the cheap option on this tour guide so our experience wasn't the.mody glamorous. It was fun to see different sides of Morocco but would not book a tour again. Next time will come in my own car so I will have the freedom to explore more! The desert was beautiful during sunset and was fun to take pictures.
Great dessert view! Camel riding at sunset is a great experience. The luxury camp is really LUXURY!
