  • The mausoleum was erected in 1703 years, still in the life of the Sultan. When he was buried here, the place became the destination of pilgrims. Apparently, the mausoleum is also available to people who have a different religion than Islam, but in Ramadan, probably not available, because we are not admitted. We saw only a beautifully carved gate.

  • Around it was very nice to walk and take pictures, but unfortunately when I visited it was closed for renovation. However, it is a must visit area in Meknes, Morocco where you will find very intriguing bazaar to shop and admire.
