Cascades, Imouzzer des Ida Outanane

#13 of 13 in Nature in Souss-Massa
Water Body · Hidden Gem · Geologic Formation
Cascades serves as a favorite local getaway near a small Berber town. The river forms two sets of cascades and natural swimming pools. Watch the locals plunging into the pools from the high rocks. Numerous stalls at the base of the cascades sell traditional handicrafts--such as handcrafted chess sets, Berber jewelry, almonds, honey, and the region's most famous product--argan oil. The surrounding area offers numerous hiking opportunities. Note that you will have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the waterfall. You'll find a cafe at the foot of the waterfall.
