Long Beach, Ulcinj

#1 of 9 in Outdoors in Ulcinj
Beach · Nature / Park
Included in the New York Times' "Top Places to Go in 2010," sandy Long Beach stretches from Ulcinj to Ada Bojana, which makes it the longest beach in Montenegro. Apart from being 13 km (8 mi) long, the beach is also exceptionally wide--some 60 m (200 ft)--and is surrounded by greenery and subtropical decorative plants. Wade in its shallow, refreshing water; the sand is said to help with rheumatism. Rent a sunbed with an umbrella, get one of the spacious cabanas at the site, or bring your own beach towel and soak up the sun in the warm sand.
