Blue Grotto, Luštica

#3 of 7 in Parks in Kotor Municipality
Must see · Cave · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Far from the common tourist sites and public beaches, the Adriatic Sea conceals Blue Grotto, a luminous blue sea cave. Accessible from two points, one wide and low and the other tall and narrow, the site has to be reached by boat. Once there, you'll witness a phenomenon of natural lighting created by the sun's rays passing under the rocks and through the sea, illuminating the inside of the sea gallery. Feel free to swim in the bright blue water. If you're a diving fan, check out agencies that organize diving expeditions to the site.
