Tour Operator Kotour has emerged as a product of enthusiasm and business idea of Montenegrin couple Ljilja and Mladen. Mladen was born in Niksic while Ljilja was born in Kotor.Use our Kotor tour itinerary builder tool to visit Kotour Travel Agency on your trip to Kotor, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.
We met in 2009 while studying Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kotor. After we did our universities, we went different ways. Mladen has decided to continue his education by getting a tour guide license, while Ljilja decided to enroll in Master study and coincidentally, Ljilja appeared to get an opportunity to start career in the accounting agency where she worked as a freelance accountant for six years.
Mladen worked as a guide for several travel agencies in Kotor. Working with people from all over the world, learning about different cultures and religions have made him understand their needs better and made him able to train our guides(read friends) to focus on giving best possible service to our clients. Being taken on a private tour by one of our guides will be a truly enjoyable, stimulating, exciting and truly local experience. You will feel like being accompanied by a friend, a local, someone who knows the city you are visiting in depth.
Our motto is to make tourists who came into the unknown areas, with a feeling of "guest" leave with the impression they are leaving their own home and looking forward to be back.

We did a fantastic walking tour with Sofija around Kotor Old Town. She shared some very interesting facts about the Kotor area along with a great amount of humour! I would very much recommend Kotour (especially Sofija) for walking tours.

Knowledgable and engaging guide on 1-hr guided tour in old town Kotor Great introduction to the history of Montenegro, Kotor area and the old town. A very good way to start your visit to the old town so you can go back and look closer at the sigths passed on the tour. Sofija Perovic was our guide in this tour, and with her broad knowledge about history and everyday life it made the hour long tour very interesting. She is a skilled communicator and her English is great.
