Rio Secreto, Playa del Carmen

Wow. If I could give this place a million stars, I would. The caves itself are a MUST SEE when in Mexico. It is absolutely breathtaking and the information that is given to you is such a cultural learning experience. ALLLL of the staff members are extremely amazing! My boyfriend and I speak Spanish so we took the tour in Spanish. Our tour guide Anna G was THE best. She is originally from Italy but Her Spanish and English were amazing! She made us feel beyond comfortable doing this for the first time. The photographer was also beyond amazing capturing the best photos of us throughout the trip. I highly suggest buying the $99 package of photos because they will give you ALL the photos of you and because you can’t take electronic devices in to take them yourself (which is fine because you are going through rocks and water and won’t have time to). The buffet at the end of the tour is DELICIOUS. They serve you authentic Mexican/Mayan food. OVER ALL WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME AND WILL CERTAINLY GO AGAIN NEXT TIME WE COME!!!!!

Absolutely amazing experience. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. The girl who was our tour guide (forgive me for forgetting her name) was amazing. Kind and very knowledgeable. Had an absolute blast and its something I will never forget. Thank you very much and I hope it is well kept for many years to come
