Get up close and personal with exotic creatures from around the world at Zoologico de Vallarta. Different from most zoos thanks to its policy of allowing visitors to pet and feed most of the animals, the zoo offers an experience most family members, especially children, will love. You can pay extra to hold and play with lion and tiger cubs, then roam through the zoo to find plenty of other exotic creatures on display. Don’t forget your camera, and remember to bring plenty of bug spray. • An experience like no other, especially if compared to traditional Zoo's. The location is a jungle setting, giving visitors a full immersion feel. Enclosures were clean and the animals looked healthy and well taken care of. We crossed a few Zoo keeper and they were friendly and interactive, willing to add additional information about the animal they were caring for at that moment. Yes of course, this is still an environment where the animal are in cages, so don't expect a safari experience, but you can get up close and personal with impressive animals, that normally you could not.
  • Amazing experience getting up close and. Ring able to hold baby jaguars & a tiger. One for the bucket list! Entrance fee to the zoo is about $20 but the jaguar & tiger encounters cost $80 per person. Quite pricey but worth it, we got to spend about 10-15 mins with the babies and met a tiger cub and two jaguar cubs
