  • Certainly a standout among the older, classic museums of CDMX. The collection is remarkable and the building itself is definitely Porfirio-style opulence.  more »

  • Everything from the outside to the contents of the museum is awesome. Centuries of Mexico's art history. Delightful artwork and information. The audio guide you can download at every room is the best thing ever invented. Great place for tourists and locals alike, and even better for students, specially of history or art related degrees. Delightful architecture, art and place to just hang out for a Sunday, for expample. Only one bad thing: Museum's security have no education at all. There's ways to point out and ask for things and these guys don't even know a single good one.
  • The gem among gems in Historic District in CDMX. Beautiful, majestic architecture of 1920s. Great art expositions, mainly Velasco and his mexican countryside and urban paintings, contemporary artists (some works of Tamayo, Dr. Atl, Rivera). Must visit!
