Island Wings Mauritius, Riviere du Rempart

From our hotel beach (Seapoint Boutique Hotel) I kept seeing these small seaplanes. Since it had been a dream to fly with a seaplane since childhood, I asked my hotel to find out where to start the adventure here. I booked two round trips of 25 minutes each. Actually, it was agreed that my partner and I fly side by side in two machines. Note: The machine only ever offers space for two people Pilot + 1 guest.) When we arrived at the departure beach, however, only one machine was ready, so we flew one after the other. In short it was fantastic, gorgeous and stunning. .. The unobstructed view, the variety of colours over the reefs, the water and the landscape were really impressive. At a height of around 500 feet and around 60km/h fast, there is a long-distance view including €130,00000 (5,500 MRU), not an inexpensive, but quite great and forgetful experience. One has to bear in mind that you are only travelling alone with the pilot and not in a huge tour group. Flying in its most natural form, up close and to touch, directly without plexiglass in between ...! TOP anytime again ...
