Diamond Rock, Le Diamant

#2 of 8 in Nature in Arrondissement of Le Marin
Geologic Formation · Hidden Gem · Landmark
Giving off a reflection that resembles the precious mineral, Diamond Rock reaches 175 m high (574 ft) above the Caribbean Sea. The basalt rock, which forms a spectacular island rising up against the blue background, is uninhabited and can only be accessed by boat. You can scuba dive around the rock and discover a deep triangular cave secreting healthy sea fans and coral formations. Because the island remains difficult to access, it has acted as a sanctuary for animals that were once considered extinct. Plan your Diamond Rock visit and explore what else you can see and do in Le Diamant using our Le Diamant sightseeing planning site.
