  • This is probably the most interesting building in Fort de France. We appreciated the architecture as well as the story of the man it is named for. It is close to the ferry.  more »

  • Architectural gem! Was built in 1887 for Parisian exhibition, later dismantled and moved to Martinique. A beautiful pavillon which is a public library today. Don’t be shy to have a look inside !
  • It's a nice piece of architecture. Wasn't open when we were there, but if you're in Fort de France it's worth a little walk to take a look at it.
