St. George's Basilica, Victoria

The baroque architecture is the envy of the Mediterranean! Worth seeing is the gold mosaic skirting adorning the interior perimeter of the basilica. The altar and columns are arranged in a classical Roman fashion an overture to the divine symbolism evident in this basilica.

Beautiful square, didn't go inside as I was not wearing long pants (singlets, shorts and flip flops prohibited). Had a mediocre breakfast and coffee in the square.. can't remember the name of the place, but if you're standing in the steps looking away from the basilica, don't eat at the place immediately on the left, in front of you.
