Our Lady of the Grotto, Mellieha

We didn't go inside, we were actually going to the air raid shelter (which was amazing, in a subdued way). We walked around the outside and looked at the views (which were fantastic), worth a visit for them alone. There's a small cafe just over the road too which does great milkshakes (and more cracking views). If you are walking up from the beach, you will be able to skip the gym that day, it's a fair up hill trek.

Beautiful but it was not very easy to find. I thought it was located in one of the churches but it is not. There is a sign as you come down the steps from the Parish Church. You need to cross the main road and go further down on the stairs.
