Alimatha Island, Vaavu Atoll

#1 of 10 in Nature in Maldives
Try your hand at fishing in crystal clear tropical waters lapping Alimatha Island, where many visitors come in hopes of catching marlin, pointy-nosed game fish native to the area. You can also take an aquatic adventure to a world-renowned dive site popularly known as the "Shark Channel." Don't be surprising if your diving escapade brings you closer to other large sea creatures, including stingrays and giant trevally. • stay in late July in this village of good exclusive for Italian customers comfortable resort as in all the islets that are in this wonderful archipelago both for the beaches, crystal clear water with colorful fish and sharks that surround you up to the shore but that are not dangerous. animation good efficient in the evening entertainment restaurant average although a little repetitive in the dishes anyway you can not expect to have a menu' up to the Italian, as here all supplies must take place through a Maritime transport from the bad capital is the property consisting of bungalows, garden beach and ower water, (with price surcharge) the best are the beach bungalows with beach and sea at the exit of the bungalow. The excursions are all for a fee, but they are very expensive and not worth the same for diving for those who want to dive or snorkel in the village you can take advantage of wifi but only takes in the area of the recepcion, if one wants to buy a package can buy a package valid for one or more weeks but the price is a bit high, it seems to me about 50 dollars, the alternative is to buy on arrival at the airport of a sim worth 20 dollars with a traffic of 17-18 giga that are enough for a week, even if the formula is all inclusive , there are certain things that are not included, for example an espresso costs with taxes on 4 dollars, alcoholic drinks as well. the houses are spacious but without the bath products, drinks in the fridge for a fee, a bottle of water on 3.5 4 dollars, good cleaning with room reordering in the evening. overall it was a holiday of complete relaxation, recommended to all those who want to unplug
