  • Beware - any critical pictures on this place will be deleted automatically. Any photos shown here are not reflecting the reality. The forest reserve was opened in 2010 to the public. You can access it only by car. There are no bus services to this place. At first sight upon arrival, the car park was dirty. There was a sign indicating where to go. After 10 minutes walk, we realised that this is not even a tertiary forest, but more a tropical bush with some plants and maximum five trees. This place is located on Borneo, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Instead, this isn't any real tropical forest and all trees were cleared to be sold! What a shame! There were no animals, birds and wildlife!! All gone! What a big shame! The walkways need urgent repair. The watch tower is not accessible. Most people came here for jogging, but the place is really dirty. Sibu is a town with the most millionaires in Malaysia. However, the town development is really bad. What a shame! There are no walkways downtown and everyone drives car to get around. Most vehicles are the latest models from Toyota, BMW and Proton. But the Sibu town has not improved since 2000, but become worst, as poor as an African city.
  • Nice place for"walking" but definitely not for jogging or running in my opinion. Just like what you get in a jungle, dull but peaceful scenery Kind of slippery as there's some moss and mold on the planks of the tracks, so i dont think it's a good choice for senior citizens.
