Kubah National Park, Kuching

#3 of 8 in Nature in Kuching
National Park · Nature / Park
Hike through the dense rainforest of Kubah National Park. There are a couple of trails to choose from, all of which are fairly difficult, so they may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Trek the well-marked path to a stunning waterfall, where you can swim and rest for a while. Enjoy the fresh air, and spot many species of birds, lizards, and butterflies, as well as diverse trees and exotic flowers. Follow the trail to the frog pond, where you can observe more than a dozen frog species, or find one of the viewing stations and take in the spectacular surroundings. Wear comfortable shoes and bring lots of water, as it can get quite humid in this spacious nature reserve. Our Kuching holiday planner makes visiting Kubah National Park and other Kuching attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • The summit view is very nice. Is a good place to walk up to the summit to view the scenery. But is not a good place to hike like in the jungle trail. The air are fresh. Is a good place to slow walking and enjoy the view surrounded with trees, especially for those who don like hiking in the forest. Some people are jogging at here too. The waterfall also beautiful. The entrance fee is RM 10.
  • The summit hike is great for those who would like to train walking upward, but it's not the best place to hike. Unless you're going for the jungle trail, which the place provided and I'd say it is one of the friendlier trekking place to walk into. All green, and pretty challenging, but not too hardcore. Still, you could walk for hours in it if you want to. The view at Selang trail is pretty cool. Would like to spend more time there next time.
