  • Although relatively small and surrounded on three sides by roads this is a very colourful Chinese/Taoist temple nearby to the James Brooke restaurant. Still very much used by the local community as.....  more »

  • There was a festival when I was there. Don't remember what festival it was called but the locals were swarming in... A unique and lively temple with delicate carvings. I happened to speak to one of the locals - said this is an annual event where the locals came to give their offerings so they could be blessed with a smooth sailing year. I did not give it a second thought and joined this interesting event
