A truly unique book shop with an incredibly kind owner. I am traveling and contacted them before arriving in Penang. They ordered in a book for me and had it waiting when I arrived. I cannot recommend Gerakbudaya enough! Thank you!

Do you like books? Visiting local bookstores is one of my ways of traveling. This bookshop had books of local authors and seemed to try kept connected with other bookstores in SEA for updates and improvement. Now I heard they opened another big bookstore. I can't wait to visit this new one!
