The dense, humid forest covered by moss and draped with lianas provides a perfect habitat for these friendly primates, who allow you to get up close. Spanning some 155 sq km (60 sq mi), this accessible reserve remains most famous for the indri, a lemur that sings like a whale. Other animals you may spy include diademed sifaka, chameleons, snakes, tree frogs, and a variety of birds. A number of enclosures let you pet lemurs and various reptiles.
