  • The construction of the beautiful church in Simnas () began in the year 1520. The Church in its present form is built over the centuries and rebuilt several times after wars and fire. Nevertheless, the Renaissance characteristics still clearly visible. The Church is perfectly restored. The same goes for almost every church in Lithuania. The Church is surrounded by an enclosed cemetery. The Interior is dominated by Baroque and neo-Baroque elements. In a side chapel is a very nice altar. The stained glass Windows are new and remarkably flavorful. If you are in the region, this church is well worth a visit.
