ルアンパバーンでのアクティビティで一番人気、ということで、参加してきました。結論から言うと、とてもよかったです。特に欧米系の旅行者はかなり喜んでいましたが、日本でも、なかなか農業体験はできないので、勉強にもなります。 more »
I participated because it is the most popular activity in Luang Prabang. In conclusion, it was very good. Especially Western tourists were very happy, but in Japan, it is difficult to experience farming, so it is also a study.View original -
The community farm makes for a great half-day out as you learn about the rice-making process. Our guide Den provided very good explanations in well-spoken English (the community teaches locals English... more »

Amazing experience and so worth it. Our host, Den, and the entire staff was extremely kind and funny. You learn how rice is made and how nothing in the process is wasted. Along the way, you get to plant, plow with Rudolphe the water buffalo, thresh, weave bamboo, make sugar cane juice, etc. And stay for the lunch. We traveled Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam for a few weeks and it's probably the best meal we had. The dishes just keep coming. Was one of the best things we did on our whole trip and the Lao people are just brilliant. You will love it.

There were so many great activities in Luang Prabang and living land is one of the best no doubt about it. We came for the afternoon session which was between 2-3 hours. It was a great experience for both us and the kids. The place is beautiful and they made the activity very interesting and playful. Highly recommended!!!! Rice will never taste the same.
