An alpine body of water, Song Kol Lake provides for leisurely exploration of an unspoiled natural environment and a glimpse into a simple life of the herders that live in the area. Lying at an altitude of 3,016 m (9,895 ft), the lake covers an area of about 270 sq km (104 sq mi) on a vast plain bordered by dramatic mountain ranges. Here you'll be able to take hikes into the surrounding mountains, frolic in the lake, and take horse treks around the region. Prettily decorated yurts serve as authentic places to stay, while the local herders provide supplies. Bear in mind that this remote destination is only reachable by car. Very comfortable yurt. With a heater for the cold night. Good food (dinner and breakfast). Warm shower is extra to pay.

Great 3 days Horse riding with Pegas Adventure: One of the best tours and travels .very well organized and Mr.Tilek was very reliable . Quick respond and always trying to help you. I had taken 3 days horse trekking even though I never ride a horse in my life. Trek started with kochkor-Kyzart pass-Kilemche jailoo-Song Kol lake -Zhaman Kalmak Ashu pass -kochkor ..Our guide Tim he was awesome and fun loving person .Without him, the trip would have been not this much exciting and fun. Now I am pro in horse riding and galloping ..I will highly recommend Pegas adventure without even thinking twice .. Thank you especially Tilek
