Get a close up view of hippos and crocodiles at Mzima Springs, a series of natural springs at the foot of volcanic hills. Clear, naturally filtered water creates a scenic stream abundant with pools and rapids, a habitat for vervet and Sykes' monkeys and a variety of birds. Wild date trees, raffia palms, waterberries, and sycamore figs luxuriate by the banks. Observe underwater life from a circular glass viewing chamber built into the side of one of the pools.   • The walkway is beautifully built along Mzima Springs. You can get some exceptional photos of vervet monkeys, hippos, the many birds that frequent the area. You’ll may also see many big game coming.....  more »

  • This place is very relaxing as guests get out of the vehicle and take an escorted walking safari around the nature.
  • It's located in the west of Tsavo National Park and it's around 48km from mtito andei. Has clear waters and it's a popular spot with crocodiles and hippos to see.. There's also an underground viewpoint where you can watch the fish swim under water.
