Selenkay Conservancy, Amboseli National Park

#13 of 41 in Wildlife in Rift Valley Province
Nature / Park · Hidden Gem · Wildlife Area
Selenkay Conservancy shares the ecosystem of Amboseli National Park and occupies land leased from the local Maasai people. The conservancy remains dedicated to responsible tourism and wildlife conservation--many migrating species previously killed or driven off the land now have a safe home within this protected area. While there, you can enjoy an exclusive safari experience far away from big tourist crowds and noisy minibuses. The operator recommends a stay of at least 2-3 nights, with adventures that include rides in 4x4 open-sided safari vehicles and escorted nature walks. A visit to Selenkay Conservancy represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Amboseli National Park road trip planning tool to plot your vacation.
