Lawrence's Spring, Wadi Rum

#6 of 9 in Parks in Al Aqabah Governorate
Hike up to Lawrence's Spring, situated in Jordan’s scenic Valley of the Moon. The natural spring takes its name from T. E. Lawrence, or “Lawrence of Arabia,” who described the oasis in his book “The Seven Pillars of Wisdom.” A popular stop on tours of the desert valley, you can reach the spring with a 4WD vehicle, or on foot by taking a relatively easy trek. Follow in Lawrence's footsteps and walk the meandering cliffside path to the spring, which forms a tiny oasis and watering hole in the arid desert landscape.
