make sure you book the ferry before hand, by phone or visit office, it's a must.. we missed the chance to stay longer because the late ferry was booked full.. Ama beach is great, we was low tide and.... more »

Beautiful beach and a few minutes away from zamami port, bus system goes here so no need to worry about transportation. A picnic area not far from the shore is also noted here

It is an epic beach with great snorkeling. Come during high tide to catch the giant sea turtles. It's easier to get here on a bicycle because the road to get here is flat (as opposed to Furuzamami). You can always rent a car or take a bus.
