Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, Yokohama

3.8
Formerly an important staging and customs area for the city's busy port, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse now contains restaurants, shops, galleries, and more within its sturdy walls. This pair of buildings stands out from much of the city's architecture, as the signature red bricks do not feature prominently in historic Japanese construction. Explore the shopping mall within, lined with hardwood flooring, to browse an array of quirky shops selling everything from handmade jewelry to warehouse-themed souvenirs. You can also find a few relatively big-name international brands here. Grab a bite to eat at the food court, which features a range of non-local cuisines and concepts, or head out to the waterfront to enjoy the view over the harbor. • Detailed evaluation 3.7 Warehouse built in Meiji Taisho. Yokohama's famous landmark saisa is a commercial facility for holding events. You can enjoy shopping, eating, and just the atmosphere.

  • It's very special and it looks beautiful, but you'll find no where you can take a panoramic view. There are many restaurants and cultural goods in the restaurant, and there are other activities in outer space, which are very attractive, but they are not attractive. It's worth noting that there are a lot of people in the hand washing room here.

  • A romantic place to bring your date or family to! I was here on 27 Feb 2019 on a Sunday and it was really crowded at about 530pm with majority of the crowds in the dining tents. It's a free activity which you can admire the red brick warehouses and also stroll along the wharf and lay your gaze upon the nostalgic cruise ship. Turn around and you'll be able to see the Ferris wheel and I recommend coming in the evening as the light show on the Ferris wheel is mesmerizing. Be sure to out on layers as the wind is really strong and cold during the winter months!
