Step into a landmark of Japanese maritime history at NYK Hikawamaru, a famous ocean liner that now functions as a museum. Brought into service in 1930, the ship originally sailed between Japan and Seattle, carrying passengers and cargo. During World War II, the vessel acted as a hospital ship, carrying wounded Japanese soldiers back to their homeland. Tour the elegant rooms and admire the naval engineering from the top deck, all the while considering the different ways in which the ship served her country over the course of 30 years.
