Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery, Yoichi-cho

  • I visited by myown. Guided tours and free tours are both free of charge. I watched it all over the free tour and enjoyed it enough. There are also areas that can only be accessed on guided tours, so if you want to see them, take a guided tour. You can easily apply at the reception desk. On the way, there is also a tasting corner at the Whisky Museum for a fee, where you can enjoy rare whiskey that cannot be drunk with free tasting. There is a free tasting at the end of the tour course, and you can enjoy three types of whiskey. The on-site restaurant also had shabu-shabu made with whiskey and wine water, and the food was delicious. You can buy whiskey that can only be obtained here at the shop, and you can enjoy it until the end of the show, such as raw bamboo shoots. It is recommended to use the bus because the number of JR is shockingly small to move from Otaru. There is also a direct bus in Sapporo.

  • I didn't watch many TV dramas, but I knew about Massan and Rita. But I signed up for a guided tour and wanted to learn more about the origins of Nikkausky. I was able to stand up to the place where coal was put exactly, and the smell of whiskey was good. The leaves were finished and the dead leaves were falling, but the building and the barrels of whiskey matched naturally.

  • Great experience especially for the whisky lovers! Came especially to Yoichi to visit and it's a great experience indeed! Should try all the single malts, the premium, and the free ones. You should definitely eat in their restaurant to try the whisky and wine shabu2.
  • Great place to visit if you are nearby. Free whisky tasting and kids can have free Apple juice. Visit the restaurant too if you are nearby. Price is decent and good food. I'd visit this place again in the future
