  • It is a favorite place with the hydrangea approach and the emotion.

  • On both sides of the stone pavement and stone steps, which is also 515m, hydrangea of 40 species 2500 shares are planted, known as Hydrangea temple. The flower of the hydrangea which fills both sides of the approach when becoming the season of the hydrangea is just a word of the masterpiece. Because it is climbing all the way from the entrance of the approach, it looks good even from the entrance, and overlooks from front of the temple. A lot of people visit it for this purpose. It is a hidden spot of the seasonal limitation of Yamagata that I want you to come to the person who likes hydrangea by all means. The Hydrangea festival is also open every year from the end of June.
