    we spent half a day at the park on 12-Nov. The fall colors were amazing! it's right next to the Yahiko shrine, so, you can hit both sites at one stop. There were a few tour groups at 3pm. I suggest...  more »

    Drop by this park in end Oct after visited Yahiko Shrine. Both places are walking distance to each other & from Yahiko station. Walked thru' a short tunnel is the park. Beautiful autumn leaves...  more »

    秋の紅葉は一番美しい。 Very beautiful in the autumn time, when the leaves are turning red and yellow. Beginning/middle of November is the perfect time to go. I suggest to visit in the afternoon when it is still light and then again after it got dark. The trees will be lit up a little, which is a stunning view as well. Can be quite crowded on the weekends, if the weather is good. Also, make sure to check out the nearby Panda-Yaki place, a famous snack for Yahiko.
