Lovely spot to view the unkai (sea of clouds) above Takachiho at certain times of the year at sunrise. A short drive out of town, that warrants a bit of care as it ascends through the cloud/mist... more »

Not many people visit the south deck here, very quite place with stunning view. A good choice for meditation. more »

Didn’t see the sea of clouds. The view was still stunning though.

I heard that this place has a beautiful view so I went to the top, btw go to the top with car and don't be that idiot (me) who goes on foot, only 2 bad it was getting dark and it was cloudy. But I still loved it and what I was able to see, everyone green, so beautiful and calm. The view is just amazing, I wonder how it will be during autumn when the leaves change their color.
