Tokyo Origami Museum, Sumida

We had no idea what we we getting into. The shop is small with elegant origami and books. Then we went to the 2pm class upstairs and he personally taught my wife and I for over an hour. The class was completely fun (it is amazing how many folds go into the simplest things!) and very memorable!

MISLEADING NAME: This is not a museum, only a small store front in front of an office. You can even see office staff from the store. It is 10-12mins away from Asakusa station and opposite direction of the Senso-ji temple, surrounding area is residential with literally nothing. The place is hard to find. Origami at the shop were pretty, but definitely not worth a separate visit exclusively. The origami paper sold there were quite cheap (dont think includes tax) but not very pretty, just standard colours and basic designs. I would not buy anything here.
