Trip Planner: Asia / Japan / Kanto / Tokyo Prefecture / Tokyo / Minato / Shibakoen / TOKYO ONE PIECE TOWER
Tokyo One Piece Tower is an indoor theme park for the popular Japanese manga series, One Piece. It opened on March 13, 2015 inside Tokyo Tower. Since its opening, it has undergone a partial renovation and reopened on June 18, 2016. It offers several games and attractions based on characters of the Straw Hat Crew from One Piece, entertainment shows, merchandise shops and themed restaurants, and seasonal events and campaigns.See TOKYO ONE PIECE TOWER and all Tokyo has to offer by arranging your trip with our Tokyo road trip planning site.
The core concept is that the whole park is an island in the New World called Tongari Island (トンガリ島), that the Straw Hat Crew landed on, and they created games and attractions for their fans with the islanders. The island's leader is Tongari Den Den Mushi who frequently appears as the guide in some attractions and the website. Tongari (トンガリ) means "pointed" or "sharp" in Japanese and it refers to the shape of Tokyo Tower.
In 2016, it ranked 7th in TripAdvisor 2016 Traveler's Choice Top 10 Amusement Parks in the Japan region.

You know you are in Japan when one of the central Landmark buildings of a city has 2.5 floors completely dedicated to an anime. The amount of passion for one piece here is palpable. Places like this..... more »
This place is amazing I absolutely loved it. The games are fun even if they are short, except Robin's, which we were not able to finish. The ambient and decorations are really cool, even the bathroom. There is some special merchandise that you can only buy at the store there. I also recommended a lot the live show, the actors are really good, the did an amazing job, but the line for the show starts to form even more than an hour before the start so take that into account to have a good spot. We really enjoy our time there.
This theme park was cool; below they have a restaurant, and when you enter the park they have a few games and walk through adventures. I was honestly surprised at how much they were able to fit into such a small space. If you are a one piece fan, I definitely recommend visiting for a few hours; there are a lot of great photo spots! Some of the attractions are much better than others I’ve seen at other parks in the world. The only downside is that since it’s small, it doesn’t take too long to go through everything.
