  • Rinnoji Temple is a temple in north Sendai founded by the Date clan. At first, it appears rather unassuming. Follow the path to behind the temple and you will be treated to a gorgeous Japanese garden. I could definitely imagine this place being absolutely beautiful in the peak of every season, however, in early winter, it’s not quite as lovely as it could be with only a bit of snow on the grounds. • I love this temple! The place is quiet with greenery around. There is a beautiful Japanese styled garden inside - you will have to pay an entrance fee of 300 yen. This garden is beautiful in all the seasons.
