  • Simply breath taking foliage. The place is 30 min bus ride from Sakurai station. The bus runs only once every hour (or less). Expect some stairs, as the shrine is located in the mountain. 13 storied pagoda built in 7th Century is uniquely elegant. Also known for late blooming Sakura, cherry blossoms.
