    Genpinan is a small temple along Yamanobe no Michi. There is a donation box at the entrance, but nobody is visible in the premises. It is rather a house of recluse than a temple. The garden is...  more »

    Quite charming. Not much more to add, but a nice spot to rest your legs on your way up or down Yamanobe Path. Would like to add that the correct Japanese reading for this place's Kanji is Genpinan.
