Involved in many of the power struggles that defined feudal Japan, the buildings were destroyed in 1571, with most of the current buildings dating back to the early Edo period. • You can climb the hotel using the cable car and you will be able to explore the historic temples of Enryakuji Temple. I think that it is also good to take a walk to experience the history here of course to pray.

  • I was caught up in the traffic jam with the knowledge that I learned thinly in history, and visited without time. I should have done more in advance and went slowly. I felt the history so severe that other temples were so solemn. I'm glad I went. It was the middle day of the three consecutive holidays in November, but it was cold. Because it is on the mountain, It is recommended to keep the cold. I want to go there after 2026.
