  • The largest and most famous aquarium in this prefecture. There are many types of sharks. You can appreciate their powerful appearance.
  • The aquarium itself is nothing extraordinary, but there is an option (via drawing lots - not all groups applying can join) to join a facilities tour behind the scenes of how they run the aquarium. This is something I've never seen before and it was excellent. If you're in the area, I would recommend a visit, but it may not be worth a long journey to get there. Overall, the glass is more visible and the water less clear than other aquariums I have visited, but we had a great time.
