  • This lovely Shinto Shrine sits on a spit of land within Sugama Bay on the Izu peninsula of Japan. The shrine is known as the "guardian of the sea" and is a symbol of faith for fisherman in this area.....  more »
  • We were on our way to Osezaki and passed by this shrine. Just a regular shrine like many others you can see in Japan. We just stopped by for a pic!  more »
  • The base of the Daise Matsuri, which is held on April 4 every year. Is the girl funny? The men of the sea who made a transvestite take the ship and your guys go the spring of this world. At first glance, I think it is difficult to access, you can enjoy the festival if you ride the boat of the tour form out of Numazu port early in the morning. I think that it is worth to take a ride once by all means.

  • I visit a shrine every year. I pray for maritime safety, good catch, and health. It is the best spot to worship the majestic Mount Fuji on New Year's Day. Although there were few people who visited before, I wonder if it has become a little more recently. But there is no such thing as congestion.
